Based in Poole, The Harbourside Learning Partnership is a Multi Academy Trust of six schools who have chosen to work together in a spirit of collaboration and interdependence, secure in the knowledge that it will lead to better outcomes for children. It is a mix of primary, infant, junior and church schools. By working together, Harbourside Learning Partnership is ideally placed to face the challenges of the future and ensure all our children achieve the very best they can.
Our Partnership is committed to excellence in all facets of education. It is concerned with the flourishing of each pupil as a whole person; unique and of ultimate significance. Our Partnership aspires for the highest academic attainment and nurtures children's spiritual, moral, social, physical and cultural development.
Our schools recognise and embrace their interdependence with one another. Our Partnership model celebrates each school's unique and individual characteristic, each retaining its individual identity, uniform, ethos and, where relevant, Christian distinctiveness. Local Governing Bodies have the autonomy to develop provision to meet the needs of their learners and families; Headteachers enjoy a high level of autonomy alongside additional support and challenge in running their schools.
Our MAT will establish effective accountability to secure improvement in all schools. Each of our schools has a commitment to support each other to share good practice and innovations in order to establish a hub of educational excellence. School improvement is at the heart of the Partnership. Central to our MAT is the School Improvement Board – the CEO and six Headteachers working together - whose core purpose is to focus on teaching, learning and school improvement so that pupil outcomes may be improved.
