Paul Howieson, Chief Executive Officer and Accounting Officer
Previously the Headteacher of one of our Partnership’s schools, Paul has considerable experience of senior leadership roles within schools, including ten years of Headship across two schools in the Poole area. Paul has enjoyed a varied route through his career to date. Primary trained initially with particular strengths in English, Drama and Science, Paul has worked extensively across Key Stages 2 and 3 in a variety of roles including teaching, middle and senior leadership and Local Authority advisory. Paul was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Harbourside Learning Partnership in October 2016.
Lisa Templeton, Finance and Operations Director
Lisa was appointed as the Finance and Operations Director on 1st January 2017. She is a Chartered Certified Accountant with 20 years' experience within Practice as well as large financial services companies. In addition to her technical accounting background Lisa also brings with her a wealth of experience in risk and controls, project management and communications.
Sarah Haley, Partnership Finance Manager
Sarah was appointed in June 2018 as Partnership Finance Manager. She is responsible for the finance and budget management of three of the schools and also assists the Finance and Operations Director. She has several years’ experience in education finance and previously worked in one of the HLP schools as a School Business Manager. Sarah is AAT qualified.
Claire Stockdale, Finance Assistant
Claire joined the team in September 2017. Claire provides support and assistance to the Partnership’s Business Manager and has over ten years of experience within Financial Services and Investment Banking specifically in the areas of Compliance, Audit and Investment Products.
Kate Masters, Lead Practitioner for Assessment and Achievement
Kate was appointed as the Lead Practitioner for Assessment and Achievement in April 2017. She is an experienced teacher and senior leader who has a wide variety of experience in driving school improvements. She has previously held the posts of Deputy Headteacher, and Lead Practitioner for Vulnerable Children for the Borough of Poole and is an NCTL accredited Pupil Premium Reviewer.
Clare O'Connor, Specialist SEND Teacher
Clare has been in the role of Harbourside Learning Partnership SEND Teacher / Assessor since September 2016. Clare works with all the schools within HLP to provide detailed learning profiles for pupils, she is also involved with SEND training across the Partnership. Clare is an experienced class teacher, Clare has previously worked for Dorset LEA as an SEN assessor / advisor.
Lisa Squire, HR Manager
Joining us from the Borough of Poole HR Education team in April 2017, Lisa brings twenty years’ experience of managing all stages of the employee life-cycle, in both the public and private sectors. With a strong generalist background, Lisa has specialist skills in business partnering, managing change and employee relations case management.
Lesley Meakin, HR Advisor
Lesley joined the team in September 2018 as HR Advisor. Prior to joining us, Lesley has enjoyed a career break which included training as a Florist. Lesley has experience in a range of HR roles in the private sector, mainly in Investment Banking. She is Charted Institute of Personnel Development qualified and has a strong generalist background, with particular focus on employee relations and organisational change projects.
Helen Moors, PA to the CEO and Administrative Officer
Joining the team in September 2018, Helen has come to the role with a wide range of experience from working as a Teaching Assistant through to Training and Recruitment within a local training provider.
More recently Helen has been working for a large retail organisation whilst her two children have been growing up; both children are now attending one of our schools within the Harbourside Learning Partnership.
